including five EHR implementation specialists and three

with CCHIT, Labcorp, and Surescripts

Thomas Wong, CEO and Principal
Consultant
Thomas has a decade of experience managing EHR development
and implementation projects for technology vendors and healthcare
organizations, including Peoplechart Corporation, Perot Systems, Kaiser
Permanente, Stanford Hospital and Clinics, and Triad Hospitals. He is the
author of "A Time-Saving Guide to EHR Adoption" (2010)
and "101 Ways to Boost
Your Web Traffic" (2000-2005) and hands-on
with EHR workflow design, implementation, testing, training, and go-live support. He has worked with
1,000+ physicians in person to adopt new EHRs (Epic, McKesson
Stars and Horizon, Amazing Charts, and eRX). Thomas holds
a
Master of Science degree from University of Nevada-Reno and a
Training Design and Development certificate from UC Berkeley. Diane Carter,
Principal Consultant
Diane has been working on the forefront of medical informatics applied
to clinical software for 15 years. Her experience includes
implementation of Cerner Pathnet LIS and EpicCare Ambulatory at both
Kaiser Permanente and Stanford Hospital and Clinics. She has worked as
a medical informatics expert at Healthline Networks (Healthline.com)
developing medically guided Internet search technology. In addition to
revenue and reimbursement coding, she was part of the management team at
Kaiser Permanente that addressed medical-legal compliance issues and
quality for the Northern California laboratories. Diane received her
Masters of Public Health from UC Berkeley, holds a California CLS
license, Project Management Institute (PMP) certification, and Epic
Systems Ambulatory certification.
