Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (www.cms.org) - US federal agency which administers Medicare, Medicaid, and the Children's Health Insurance Program. They also manage e-prescribing policy and incentive program.

California Association of Public Hospitals and Health Systems (www.caph.org) - A statewide trade association representing 19 public and not-for profit hospitals, academic medical centers and comprehensive health care systems working on the front lines of health care in California.

California Medical Association (www.cmanet.org) - Advocacy organization active in the legal, legislative, reimbursement and regulatory areas on behalf of California physicians and their patients.

California Primary Care Association (www.cpca.org) -  California Primary Care Association represents more than 600 not-for-profit community clinics and health centers in California.

Booz Allen Hamilton (www.boozallen.com) - A health IT consulting company contracted with NIST to help develop a testing method and processes for certifying electronic health record systems.

CCHIT (www.cchit.org) - This is one of the several certification bodies that will be involved with EHR certification using standards developed by Booz Allen Hamilton.

Drummond Group (www.drummondgroup.com) - Another company interested in providing EHR certification services to EHR vendors.

Klas (www.klasresearch.com) - An independent EHR vendor research organization that uses provider rating and other information to rate the quality and usability of EHRs.
